Johannesburg, South Africa – South African talent is heading to Paris, with young multidisciplinary performer Giselle Niemand set to join the Africa In Paris showcase this October.
The showcase takes place from 2 to 4 October 2026 and is presented by Africa Fashion Week in collaboration with Noir Fashion Week Paris.
Giselle will be among the South African models showcasing the work of New Romantics Couture, led by designer Nadene Marx.
The fashion house’s Paris appearance follows its participation in Africa Fashion Week last year, where New Romantics Couture won the opportunity to showcase internationally.
For Giselle, the opportunity comes at an important point in her growing career. She has already gained international fashion experience through New York Fashion Week and has performed internationally in the United States and Dubai.
Away from modelling, Giselle is developing a career in music while continuing to explore acting and dance. Her multidisciplinary background has allowed her to build experience both on stage and in front of the camera.
Her appearance at Africa In Paris will provide another international platform for Giselle to showcase her versatility while representing South African creative talent.
