The award-nominated actress will take on the role of Janice Proctor in Nina Stakz’s upcoming feature.
Lunden De’Leon is continuing a busy run in independent film with a new role in The Wife Slayer, the upcoming feature from writer-director Nina Stakz.

De’Leon has been cast as Janice Proctor in the film, marking another addition to a résumé that spans more than 50 film and television appearances. Audiences may recognize her from projects including Blackbear, Sweet Home Carolina, Only 48 and Paydert, with select films available on Tubi and Prime Video.

The new casting arrives during a notable period for De’Leon, who recently received an Actress of the Year nomination at the Queen City Awards in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Behind The Wife Slayer is filmmaker Nina Stakz, who is writing, directing and producing the feature. Stakz previously gained attention for the 2025 crime drama Angel & Demon, which explored a dangerous romance involving a police chief’s daughter and a powerful gang leader.
For De’Leon, The Wife Slayer represents another opportunity to expand her body of work as she continues building momentum across independent film.

Details surrounding the storyline are currently being kept under wraps, with additional casting, distribution and release information expected to be revealed as the project moves forward.
