Fans of beloved 90s movies and TV shows were thrilled to see some of their favorite stars reunite at 90s Con, an event held by That’s4Entertainment at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The Clueless gang, including Alicia Silverstone, Breckin Meyer, Elisa Donovan, and Stacey Dash, recreated scenes from the iconic 1995 movie and played a round of “Suck and Blow.” Cast members from All That, Charmed, Beverly Hills 90210, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hocus Pocus, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Wonder Years, Saved by the Bell, and even boy bands *NSYNC and 98 Degrees also made appearances at the event.
Unfortunately, Amanda Bynes canceled her appearance last minute due to being placed on a psychiatric hold after being found wandering naked and alone in downtown Los Angeles. However, other stars like Melissa Joan Hart, Ian Ziering, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Danica McKellar, and Candace Cameron Bure made appearances and shared their fond memories of their 90s hits.
Shannen Doherty was in attendance alongside her Charmed co-stars, defending the reboot of the show and applauding the creators for providing job opportunities. Cast colleagues from Sunnydale, Marc Blucas, Kristine Sutherland, Julie Benz, Clare Kramer, Charisma Carpenter, and James Marsters also made an appearance, as well as the stars of Full House and its revival, including Andrea Barber and Dave Coulier. Boy banders Chris Kirkpatrick, Jeff Timmons, and Joey Fatone brought in the screams.
The 90s Con was a walk down memory lane for many fans, and the event was such a success that another one has been scheduled for September 15-17 in Tampa, Florida. With so many stars of the 90s era still fondly remembered by fans, it’s no surprise that the event was such a hit.
