Trump has been railing against the investigation on his Truth Social platform, claiming that the DA has no case and suggesting that the Department of Justice was running the local prosecution. As the DA’s grand jury is set to meet on Monday, Trump’s posts indicate that he is still very focused on the case.
At the rally, Trump also bashed Bragg and insulted Daniels, who claims she was paid off to keep quiet about her affair with Trump. Earlier in the week, Trump had tweeted that he himself would be arrested, but this claim has not materialized.
