Stephanie Reddick, the wife of beloved actor Lance Reddick, has thanked fans for their outpouring of support and love following her husband’s sudden passing at the age of 60. Reddick, known for his diverse roles in notable works such as John Wick, The Wire, Oz, and Lost, passed away on Friday due to natural causes, according to his representative Mia Hansen.
In a heartfelt message posted on her husband’s Instagram account, Stephanie expressed her gratitude to fans and well-wishers. “Lance was taken from us far too soon,” she wrote. “Thank you for all your overwhelming love, support, and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the last day. I see your messages and can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have them.”
Stephanie also expressed her appreciation for the “thousands of Destiny players who played in special tribute to Lance,” referencing her husband’s pivotal role in the popular video game. She included a still of his character, Commander Zavala, in her photo series and added, “Lance loved you as much as he loved the game.”
The devoted wife further revealed that donations could be made to MOMCares, an organization that serves mothers and families in Reddick’s hometown of Baltimore, in honor of her husband’s memory.
