Jeremy Renner Shows Progress in Recovery from Snowplow Accident with Anti-Gravity Treadmill
Jeremy Renner, the star of Marvel’s “Hawkeye” series, is on the road to recovery from his New Year’s Day snowplow accident. The actor was crushed by his snowplow as he tried to stop it from hitting his nephew, resulting in “30-plus broken bones” and emergency surgery, according to his rep.
Recently, Renner posted footage on social media showing himself taking steps on an anti-gravity treadmill as part of his physical therapy. The equipment allows him to feel “less weight” so that he can be supported as he walks. In the video, he estimated that he’s only feeling “40% of my weight” on the treadmill, describing it as “like having a cane.”
Anti-gravity treadmills use special technology to support weight-supported walking, running, and other movements that can help with injury recovery, surgery rehabilitation, and chronic condition management. The technology alters the user’s body weight and provides a near weightless environment, making it easier to move freely without any impact.
Renner’s progress is promising, and he recently tweeted about finding new things to occupy his time to aid his body’s recovery. In February, he also noted that he’s working on his “mental recovery too” in the aftermath of his accident.
The road to recovery can be long and difficult, but Renner’s determination and the use of innovative equipment like anti-gravity treadmills can pave the way to a full recovery. We wish him a speedy and successful recovery.
